Help with FC6 and a G4

Im a newb to mac's and messed around a little with linux on my PC. I aquired a G4 450mhz, 512mb ram, Dvd-rom, Empty AGP slot, and what looks like 3 pci slots, a little longer then the ones i see in a PC. One of them has an ATI 3d Rage Pro agp 2x. Ive tried this with both the DVD, and the 6 CD version of FC6. It will boot up fine by holding down "C". Then i will type in "linux". It will load elfkernal, then loads something else, as soon as it switches over to some other type of console with alot more text writing, the video goes scrambled.
I also tried
linux video=rage:800x600-16

linux video=rage:800x600

linux video=rage:1280x1024-16

linux video=rage:1280x1024

and still get the same problem.

Any ideas?

This was fixed by typing
linux video=ofonly
