Hi,

I tried to install Fedora Core 1 on a HP DL380 G1 and I had plenty of different problems :

1) I wanted to install Fedora via FTP.
- Install crashed after loading the base image.
- at the end, I tried with : linux noprobe text skipddc allocddma

result : not working allways crashing at the same stage

2) install fedora with CDs
- the only way I can install it is using the following cmds : linux text noprobe skipddc allocddma.

Finally, the installation was finished.

After the firstboot, I get to the config screen of Gnome.
For some reason I press Num lock key on the keyboard and the server was totally hanged.

After that, I was unable to boot. I changed the start level to 3 and disable the mouse console services.(in rescue mode)

I've updated the kernel.

Now, when I start Gnome, the server is still completely hanging.
Anyone got the same issues with this kind of servers?
Let me know
Thanks.
