I'm considering updating my system from a FC4 x86_64 to FC6 x86. I haven't really noticed much of an improvement in my experience operating an x86_64 distro in my ~2.5 years with it.
For web browsing with flash and other plugins, I've had to install firefox x86 anyway and yum keeps installing 32-bit compatibility libraries when installing games and such.
I'm wondering if I can boot with a x86 DVD and just update my existing distro or if I should blow away my current OS drive and install from scratch. Obviously the latter should work fine, but I'm curious if FC6 supports a x86_64 to x86 update in general or if that's too narrow an audience for the developers to have put any effort there.
