Greetings,
I am new to linux and have been given the task to add two new disks to a pc that has fedora 5 already installed. The motherboard is an Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family). It has one SATA disk already and I have two identical disks that I need to add.
What is a good way to go about this? I found a tutorial of how to add a new hard disk to a linux box but not as a raid config. I also read that ich7 is not supported.
I thought about raid 0 because I want the combined space on the disks to look as one. If there is another more practical way to do this, then I please let me know. Performance is important but not as much as space.
Thank you for your time and help.
