it is a 56k modem (V92), speedcom + series.

the box of this device doesn't tell any more information.

how can i make it visible to linux?

tnx for your support and sorry for my english (i'm italian).

It's probably a Winmodem. See http://www.linmodems.org

Hi
you can try something from http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/
if the trial version (14k) works you must pay for full velocity, but it's not expensive!
