Hi,
I have an hp nc6320 laptop which has a Broadcom bcm4311 wireless card.
As I had the FC4 disks already I installed it on a spare partition. Mostly this works fine but as usual I am having wireless problems :(
My kernel (2.6.17-1.2142_FC4smp) includes the bcm43xx driver and does not error when I modprobe bcm43xx
I have used bcm43xx-fwcutter with the HP supplied bcmwl5.sys file to fix the firmware (also tried wl_apsta.o).
Most of this came from Darkmage's FC5 howto.
Despite this, lspci still reports 'Unknown device 4311' and iwconfig ignores the wireless card.
What next?
I would prefer not to resort to ndiswrapper.
