vega strike has several mods from Priviteer ,Wing Commander,Elite as well as Vega Trek i run the svn and am the nnob shephard on there forum;)

Oolite is a space combat / trading game.

Remember the game Elite ? It's essentially the same.

you could try quake4 linux demo if you like , it has stunning graphics

only demo? :) I try and get past those things (: and ive already tried q4 :( the only reason id get that is to play mod rocket arena 4 :).. just q3/rocket arena 3 for me now
