I am trying to install Java SDK Update 8 but I get this error:
Installing Desktop/java-1.5.0-sun-compat-1.5.0.08-1jpp.src.rpm
warning: InstallSourcePackage: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID c431416d
warning: user scop does not exist - using root
warning: group scop does not exist - using root
warning: user scop does not exist - using root
warning: group scop does not exist - using root
warning: user scop does not exist - using root
warning: group scop does not exist - using root
error: Failed build dependencies:
jdk = 2000:1.5.0_08-fcs is needed by java-1.5.0-sun-compat-1.5.0.08-1jpp.noarch

What is the prob? Why do I need the user "Scope"

This warning does not mean anything. It is just a bad compiled RPM as user scop. It is not a problem. You problem ist, that jdk seems to conflict with sun-compat.
