Hello!!
Yesterday I have installed the Fedora Core 5 whit the command "linux noprobe" otherwise, if I use the simply install command "linux", Anaconda graphical installation mode doesn't start...
Well...I installed Fedora Core 5...my Logitech DiNovo keyboard (Bluetooth keyboard and mouse) work perfectly.....
After I have update the Fedora core with PUP...it update the kernel with the last kernel automatically.
When I reboot, my Logitech keyboard and mouse doesn't work....
What going on?
Can you help me, please?

p.s.: I see, when Fedora Core 5 load the service at startup....smartd [FAILED]...Why?...Whad do I do?...Is this a possible problem for my Logitech keyboard?

Thank you!!

the smart service has nothing to do with keyboard - it concerns the hard disk monitoring tool, and the error is due simply to a not properly written config file. You can fix it, ignore it or disable the service.
As for your keyboard, sorry but I dunno. Use a normal wired keyboard and save the output of lsmod. Then boot with the older kernel ond do the same. Compare the output: see if there is some kernel module missing for the newer kernel

I have no Solution, but the same (or similar) Problem:
Installing FC5 with dinovo was no problem. I configured many things bevore the next reboot, so i cant say what action caused the following problem:
When FC5 comes up, the keyboard still is functional. I can proove this by pressing ALT+D (in german version) for looking at Details while booting works fine.
When the logginscreen comes up, there is no response to Keyboard or mouse any more. Connecting (with the waiting logginscreen) my old PS2 Keyboard works fine again.

I have no Idea what i can do to activate the dinovo again, please help...

It's definitive not the best Solution, but the best one in this thread:
Logged in with a PS2-Keyboard I stopped the service "bluetooth", after a reboot with switching back to the dinovo keyboard and mouse I had respone in the loggon-screen again.
A guess from my stomage tells me something like "bluetooth is dangerous and therefore blocked in some accesscontrols". Someone knowing how it reaqlly works should post a clean solution please...

I have F7 and have a similar problem
I can't even detect my bluetooth adapter, but can use my dinovo if I first unplug and replug the adapter at login

to use the bluetooth part of the adapter, unplug and replug the adapter while holding the connect button
use a wired keyboard to make the script

#!/bin/bash

sudo /usr/bin/hidd --search

use a wired mouse and run in terminal and press connect buttons on the devices and they should work!

now you can use the bluetooth adapter for anything!!
