Hi all,
This is probably a naive question but...
I have 3 Dell GX620s, two running WinXP and one running FC5.
When I shut down the Win boxes, the LAN connectivity LEDs (one per box) remain lit (suggesting that the box could be woken by LAN activity?), but powering off the FC5 box results in the LAN activity LED is extinguished.
Similarly my network switch shows that the Win boxes as connected (again by means of LEDs), but not the FC5 box.
Is this as simple as a change in BIOS settings, or is WinXP/FC5 keeping something 'up' / shutting something down when I switch off?
Any help appreciated in understanding this.
