Canon LiDE 50 scanner

Is there any way to install a Canon LiDE 50 scanner in Fedora. I did not see any scanners in the Start menu under settings. The printer is listed there so you can click that and install a printer but the word scanner is not there. Is it possible to get this scanner to function? Thanks. Linux newbie, please keep info as simple as possible. :-)

Thanks. The scanner is working fine. As a newbie I appreciate the help from all of you. Can you tell me how to close this thread so I don't take up your valuable time as the scanner is OK. :-)
