ok so I ahve fc4 running on a partition that has 3.4 gigs of free space and i need 3.6 gigs to isntall CS:S. I added an old 10gig to my machine adn added it to the logical volume and "pvdisplay" displays it adn says that it has the rite amount of free space on it, but when i attempt to install CS:S again it still says that i dont have enough space. after i added teh drive to the volume i then ran "mkfs /dev/hdb1" and it seemed to go smoothly and didnt give any errors, but still i get "not enough space" when trying to install CS:S. did I add the volume incorrectly? or is there more steps to actually having the new drive available to write to?

I attempted to use cedega a while ago to get steam>CS:S running on my machine adn never got it running, but this time im just using wine > steam > CS:S. steam is working fine my only problem is the disk space. so can some one please help.

Thanks H8

I think I may now what the problem is. Even though you added a new HDD, wine is still configured to use your old one.

Then under drives, either add you new HDD as another drive, or replace the old /dev/hda with /dev/hdb.
