I'm aware this is more suitable for the Hardware forum than this, but in the end, the great majority of people are using nVIDIA products on Linux for gaming, right? So I posted this here.

The newes drivers are ready for x86 and x86_64, amongst the new features are GLX with Composite support enabled by default (to my understanding no need for the Xorg hack anymore), support for Xorg 7.1 (so the drivers are Fedora Core 6 ready) and support for newer kernels (2.6.18), again Fedora Core 6 ready.

What they still don't support: GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap, necessary extension to successfully use AIGLX with the drivers. At least support for it is not mentioned anywhere in the driver page, nor the README. Paradoxically, nVIDIA has contributed a ton to the extension spec definition, so let us hope proper support for this extension is added down the road, as the extension matures.

Without more preamble, go get (http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html) them, NOW!
