View Full Version : No mouse, Grub hangs?

Can't find anyone else having this problem, so thought I'd give it a try here - anyway, I hooked up a rather POS kvm to my Fedora Core 5 system, (old ASUS PIII system) and it hangs on boot after the "GRUB Loading stage2..." is displayed.

If I connect the mouse directly, it works fine - if I disconnect the mouse altogether, same thing, it hangs, so it's not the KVM, it's, it's, I dunno *what* it is - I hate to say it, but I have a similar system running winXP and it doesn't care if the mouse is therehanks or not. . .

Anyway, anyone else ever see anything like this, and have a resolution (other than "don't use a KVM")?

Thanks in advance!

Mice, I got - it's space I need - don't suppose you have some extra space I can put in my basement? :)

It's only a problem on reboots - nevertheless, it's irritating. Starting to think it's just a funky BIOS issue ...
