Anybody got text twist to run on linux? Either using wine or cedega? Or is there a linux version of this game?

I haven't found a nix version yet and I have not tried to install it via Wine on FC6 however I do successfully run it on Wine in KateOS 3.2. There is an oddity though. First I installed the package from Yahoo. It installed but I could not get it to run at all. I downloaded the version from GameHouse and installed it. It ran well. Then I uninstalled the dead yahoo version. Strangely, when I then ran the GameHouse version I got what looks like about 640x400 resolution and I couldn't figure out how to get back to my normal resolution to play the game.

Soooooooooooooo ... I reinstalled the yahoo version. It still does not work but the GameHouse version does work well in my default screen resolution. Whatever, I do play Super Twist Text and it seems to play as it does on M$ Doze.

An update:

I installed Wine on FC6 and tried several branded TwistText packages. I found one that works. Download the TwistText package at http://www.arcadetown.com/supertexttwist/game.asp It will give you a download link. When you try to download it tells you that it can't download because you're on Linux .... but ... it gives you the opportunity to tell them you have a windows PC. Then it allows you to download.

After installation, the first time you try to stat the app, Wine will say it needs to install a Gecko browser engine. Let it. Then the prog works. This is a shareware for 10 games and has a nag screen. Buying the full version eliminates this, of course.
