I am a complete newbie to Linux, so please be patient. I am using FC5 2.6.17-1.2157, and I am trying to get my DWL-G650 wireless card to work with the livna madwifi drivers. I installed them using the RPM

As far as I can tell everything is installed correctly, but the card does not show up in the network config panel. If I use /sbin/lspci it shows up as an Atheros AR5212.

Can anyone give me a clue here? I am at loss as to why it will not show up in the network config panel.

Thanks

Well, I managed to get to a point where the card is recognized. Now, I seem to be having a problems with WEP. I am using shared key WEP. I can not connect to my AP with WEP enabled.

Any ideas?

Also, is there a tool to scan for available wireless networks?
