Im trying to install realVNC from the rpm which i downloaded from their site. I get the following error when using yum
warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 30c9ecf8
Public key for vnc-4.1.2-2.i386.rpm is not installed
[root@theta ~]# rpm --import /usr/share/doc/vnc-4.1.1/rpm-gpg-key
error: /usr/share/doc/vnc-4.1.1/rpm-gpg-key: import read failed(-1).
[root@theta ~]#
does anyone know where i can get the key?
(n.b ive also tried installing from source but i had some errors so tired the rpm)

You get the key from whereever you downloaded the rpm.

maybe im being dumb but how do i get / install it? I downloaded the rpm from www.realvnc.com?!

I could not find the realvnc key either. If you need there specific version I would contact them. If you just need vnc why not use the fedora one? yum install vnc

Well i tired that but i got this

Maybe it is part of the base install and you already have it installed? yum info vnc

i want to be able to view another computer, isnt that guide to let another computer view me?

Did you do the yum info vnc? Mine shows up under applications->accessories-> VNC Viewer

aww i found the viewer, and yea! so i guess its all installed. Now i have to install it on my windows machine woop woop
