Hi, I'm noob with SATA HDD and need help.

So many distro that I've been trying to install a Linux OS on my PC but still have problem with SATA. Linuxs can't detect my SATA HDD :(

I've tried FC5, XANDROS, PCLINUX.. but only UBUNTU BETA that I can install :(

Please someone help me on this...

I have no idea why you're having this problem, but it might help if you can give us some details on your machine (make, ram, hard drives, motherboard, etc.). Is there just the one hard drive or more than one? If so, are they both (all) SATA ? Do you already have another OS installed, maybe Windows? If you check the 'search' feature of the Forum for 'sata', you'll find that there are thousands of machines that have it running, so there's SOMETHING unusual about your setup that's causing problems.
