I cant burn all of the fedora cd's so i have to use the rescue cd. I need a flash archive (thats what they are called in solaris.) to do an install over the net. If somebody could give me an http or ftp address of the media i need and all of the servers info that would be fantastic.

You just need a mirror. See the install guide. (http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/fedora-install-guide-en/fc5/ch-other-install-methods.html#sn-install-method-server)

Boot rescue CD "linux askmethod" and point to a mirror and off you go.

What mirror?

Take your pick. mirrors.kernel.org is fast.

In this case, the server you give the installer is mirrors.kernel.org and the directory fedora/core/5/i386/os/
