Can someone help me , I want to use a joystick to work epsxe.
Did anyone use a joystick well on fc5 without any extra RPM packs? I mean did anyone use a joystick well just after inputing it?
I installed fc5 with the default RPMs of the firt and scend items of the three. Maybe they are called General working and Programing in English.

How to install joystick in fc5?
Why my joystick (a cheap one work well in winxp) is detected in dev/input/event2 not edv/input/js0
I know there are similar posts in this forum but I can`t understand and solve my problem

Kelly,
You need to load kernel modules, for example I have an MS Sidewinder JS which works by loading:
modprobe ns558
modprobe joydev
modprobe gameport
modprobe sidewinder
Have a look at /usr/share/doc/joystick-1.2.15/joystick.txt for information about your joystick.
