Americas Army 2.6

Looks as though the Linux and Mac clients will be coming shortly... A 2.6 server is out already..

I hope you're right about that... I hope the news is right. But that page and indeed the files are dated from February of this year. I'll grant that other parties aren't as interested in updating Linux and MacOS versions of anything, but I thought I recalled reading elsewhere that Linix was simply being dropped. I wonder where I read that though. It was quite some time ago though I'm sure it was after February of this year.

That's a good point. I didn't realise the date on that. I saw it from a link in the AA forums... Come to think of it, I do think that it's been dropped...

A real shame that... It was one game I always played online under Windows...

I think linux and mac client versions are being dropped :(

Yes, they were officially reported as dropped. If I recall correctly, they had one person doing the ports, and he got bored and quit.

I actually read that 2.6 will be out for linux by the guy doing the ports, but 2.7 won't be.
