I started having this problem with FC4 and FC5...the sound on bzflag works but it is delayed slightly....
I have used some reported fixes such as
chmod 777 /dev/dsp
which works at first, then the sound slowly starts to lag again...sometimes up to a second behind the action.
I have tried using
export SDL_AUDIODRIVER=alsa without success...changed the sound device in bzflag to "esd" still have the delay :(
Any other ways to correct this...?
