Hey, if you have ever worked with netbeans, you know it has a really cool collaboration setup. Does anyone know of any c++ ides that have collaboration plugins or servers?

As usual, there is a eclipse project (http://www.eclipse.org/ecf/). It might even have a collaborative editor, I'm not sure of the status of it. And eclipse does c++.

i had eclipse, the java plugin worked well, but for some odd reason the c++ plugin threw strange errors .

gobby will do the collaborative editor part, but it's not a full fledged IDE.
