Good evening!
Does anyone happen have a recommendation for software that will allow me to transcribe .wav files? transana looks like it would suit my purposes, but it is not available for FC5 http://sourceforge.net/projects/transana/
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hey, along these same lines, is there an easy way to transcribe video?
I want to create transcripts of material from our church to provide better metadata for our site (better search, cool magazine-quality transcripts from on-the-fly PDF generation, syncronized slide shows...). I was thinking that I'd have to write a custom ActiveX program so that the transcriptionist could do the work from the web browser.
It would generate an XML file that would look like this:
<head>
<item number="2225555">
<date code="20060606">
<author name="Joe Henry">
<title title="Why I Like to Preach">
<transcriptionist name="June Johnson">
<image directory="/images/slides/"
</head>
<timecode slide="slide0.jpg">5</timecode>
Paragraph one word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word
<timecode slide="slide1.jpg">60</timecode>
Paragraph two word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word word
(...)
Does someone know of existing software that would be able to do this?
