I had sound with FC1 now with 2x2 I lost it. I get the below error from arts message at boot and don't know where to start to fix it. Any ideas?
the sound chip is on the board (integreated Intel)

device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such device)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.

Exact same issue I am having intel integrated soudn aswell. I am new to the linux word and have no idea where to go wiht this issue... I read someehre taht in 2x1 they didnt support sound. I'm asuming soud support is in 2x2. considering you can isntall all the packes and whatnot. for it. Any help out there we can get would be apreciated :-)
