Print job hangs in xp from fc4 -printer installed on xp

I have searched this forum high and low and havn't found any answers

I have an hp psc 1315 printer, copier, and scanner
hooked up the the xp computer.. works great.

I have FC4 on my computer using yum up-dates..I think it is updated to FC5

I can get the printer from the xp machine to insall on the FC4 machine, the drivers load and everything seems to be working. I hit print test. and nothing happens.

I go over to the xp machine and I see the print job in the queue and
there it stays and stays and stays.
it won't print.
so please help

yes I did click on print share on the xp machine.

it could be a permission issue on your xp machine....
check settings/control panel/administrative tools/services/ and set the 'tcp/ip print server' to automatic.
Probably you have to restart xp and then try again.....
