Hello,

I downloaded and installed Fedora Core 1.91. Everything was fine. Until my computer tried to boot Linux. There came a strange kernel BUG message. I booted linux in rescue mode and I have installed a newer kernel (2.6.4-1.300) and Linux was booting again. But now it gives the next message.

audit(1080905149.670:0): avc: denied { write } for pid=1458 exe=/sbin/klogd name=log dev=hda8 ino=423491 scontext=system_u:system_r:klogd_t tcontext=system_u:object_r:device_t tclass=sock_file

The gui is strarting without problems, but on the background it is still generating that message.
I can't work without X because the message keeps comming.

In the messages is something about hda8, this is my root ( / ).

Does anyone know something about this?

Already thanks

You are being hit by SELInux permissions problems. These were expected by the Fedora core dev team, but not so soon.

Take a look at http://people.redhat.com/kwade/fedora-docs/selinux-faq-en/
to get more info on SELinux and how to turn it off/tweak it.
