 Hi,
I have been trying to get my Dell Inspiron 6000 Intel Pro Wireless 2200 nic to work with Fedora 5.
What is the proper way to accomplish this? Wich "rpms" to use?
It would be great if you can supply a step by step for this configuration.
Please help

Obtain the ipw2200 2.4 firmware from sourceforge.net unzipped them into /lib/firmware directory. Reboot the computer, go to system -->admin -->network, select add new wireless device, verifiy all the settings, go to system -->admin -->services, select the top 2 services, NetworkManager and NetworkManagerDispatcher, save the setting and reboot. It should put the Network Manager icon on the top panel, left click the icon and select the proper AP.
