We will be opening a new section, a wallpaper section, hopefully it will help you to get some nice fedora wallpaper :)

I'll also add a new section after that for kde and gnome themes :)

Awesome, the default themes and the bluetooth crap or what ever its called is getting really boring (and uses to much resources) Can't wait, in the meantime anybody know where I/we can get themes for fedora1 that we dont allready have ?

Hey tux! Just wanted to say Thanx to you and the rest of the Fedora Forum admin crew. Y'all are doing a heck of a good job here. It's appreciated.

umm.. I use kde but I want to create a theme for the login greeter thingy :) (technical name) the one that pops up and you enter username and password. right now I have it set on happy gnome however I would like to make my own that doesn't seem so bland.

Ah okay guess you have an even more technical name than login thingy.. Anyways how can I create my own themes for it? I saw you can customize abit with the remote greeter (I think that was the name) but it didn't have enough options. Is thier something I can get to specificly help me build my own theme?

Some great wall papers posted so far. Maybe a silly question but I am a "newbie" to linux, so are these wallpapers for download, I do hope so. How would I download one anyway, there is no link that I can find. Right clicking on the wall paper gives me list of options, but none of them seem to indicate a download option for the file.
Thanks.

If you click on the thumbnail from the wallpaper section, then click on the image again - you'll be shown a full size version of the image. Right click on this image and select "Save Image As" and navigate to your home directory. That's how you save it, or at least when using Mozilla anyway.

And AllOop we couldn't suceed with this forum without the members. But what we really need to know is how you'd like to see this forum develop, how it would it serve you better? Have any ideas then post in the suggestions forum. :D

Oh, and is anyone up to the task of making a truely original Fedora Core wallpaper? As original as the default FC wallpaper and as professional is ideally what I'm looking for. What we've got is great so far but if we can get some of that calibre it would be much better! Anyone who produces a seriously good bit of work should email me: gareth@fedoraforum.org
