Fedoara core 5 could detect my EPSON LCD monitor

i ve recently install fedora release 5 . although it has detected my nvidia TNT2 AGP. but it cant detect my EPSON LCD monitor. i ve chosen generic Lcd with all type of resulation but the display setting wont change. display is just half of the real screen. never comes to the full view. plz help me 2 solve this problem.

Let's clear up a few things first... So you're saying the resolution is fine but only half of your screen is visable on your monitor? is that correct? If the resolution is fine then it's simply a matter of adjusting the size dimensions on your monitor, or hiting the "auto adjust" buttom on your monitor If you're having problems with your resolution then you will possibly need to edit your xorg.conf.

the thing is that its a brand pc. there is no option in my monitor. its has just 3 button. to open/close monitor(power on/off) and the other 2 button is just adjust the brightness.
