Does not show your video driver under video 14917 0 can you post your /sbin/lspci

you have the intel I915 graphics chipset. You need to download the 885resolution video BIOS patch in order to get your correct resolution. If you have not already, install the freshrpms repo like this as root:
rpm -ivh http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrpms/fedora/linux/5/freshrpms-release/freshrpms-release-1.1-1.fc.noarch.rpm
then type:
yum install 855resolution
also as root. Then you might need to also modify your xorg.conf file, but your video resolution will then be avaible after a reboot.

That is very true! Intel motherboards use the i915 graphics which also is the motherboard model. Do as advice by landocz. I didnt it catch it but he did.

in the xorg.conf what would I change and to what?

okay I install the driver and I still have a very bad resolution options, only 800 x 630 and 640 X 400.
