I'm new to the linux world. After installing Fedora 5, I have been working through the instructions to install Oracle 10 G XE. I have run into this problem. When I attempt to download the Oracle RPM that I accessed through Firefox, I double-click the file and some sort of media player or viewer launches. Has anyone else encountered this? Could someone recommend a solution so that I can download the Oracle RPM. Thanks.

Hello:
I think if you just right click on the rpm and choose Save Link As .... you should be okay.

Seve,
Thanks. You were right. I think the problem was that when I double-clicked the RPM linked, I launched the Real Player plug-in, which also has an RPM extension.
