Hello Everyone!

I havent been on the forum in forever!! I am now getting back into the Linux/Fedora community. I am/have installed a Fedora Core 5 on a server machine for a company I am now working for.

Installation worked great. It detected the monitor just fine, but me being the person I am changed the the Monitor from Dell Analog (letters numbers of model number) to Dell Digital (same model number). I need to know to change this option back.

I have the system sitting at the rescue point awaiting your wise commands.

Thanks in Advance,
JS

You can use the Rescue CD and (as root) type: "system-config-display" which should let you modify the settings. Another option might be to correct it in /etc/X11/xorg.conf . You'd have to use vim or nano to make the changes if you're currently in text mode only.
