L.S.

Perhaps I overlooked this in the FAQ, but I'd like to know how to cancel my existing Fedoraforum account.

If an administrator reads this, then I hereby "grant permission" to cancel my account. However, perhaps (assuming it doesn't exist yet) it would be useful to add an option for it in the profile editor.

I thank you for providing your forum!
S.

PS: Reason for cancellation is personal and twofold. First, I'm no longer using FC (Slackware instead). Second, I believe that signal-to-noise ratio (EDIT: actually, its reciprocal ;)) has grown considerably in the past period. I see a lot of posts that could really have been avoided by a better study of documentation and/or more persistent forum or web searching. I think that's a pity, because it spoils an otherwise great forum.

You're correct that there's no 'off' button to membership and I've contacted one of the Administrators to have your information deleted. Thanks for your posts and interest and good luck with Slackware. As info, a personal message to any one of the Community Managers would be a good way to handle changes to anyone's membership.

Yes, it would be good if everyone could follow Jman's suggestions here: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=53362 - Thanks for the feedback. And, that said, I'll close this thread.

I have taken care of this request. If you have any further issues you may contact me or any community manager.

Thank you,
