I have tried every method listed in the forums to get my nvidia drivers installed. They all sorta worked. The reason I say "sorta" is because I cannot change the runlevel back to 5. The only way I can get into gnome is to type "start x" then wait for the screen to go black then hit ctrl-f1 then ctrl-c the break out of the x server. Then when I type "start x" again it works every single time.
anyone have ANY idea at all why this may be happening?
